Fingers naturally expand in the evening and contract in cold conditions. Always measure at room temperature during late afternoon.
Wider bands (4mm or wider) feel tighter on the finger than slim 1.8mm engagement shanks. If choosing a wide band, order a half size larger.
If your knuckle is noticeably broader than your finger base, measure both locations and select a size halfway between the two.
Borrow a ring she wears on the correct finger, press it gently into a bar of soap, or trace the inner circle onto paper.
